Reckon there will be some interest in him.
Worth bearing in mind that although only 15 players scored more than him, 7 others scored as many as he did. Again, to be faire (see what I did there?), most of these played in better teams than Metz.
Not sure the walkout after not being selected against Marseille will help though, nor general perception of what they call having “le melon”.

or you look at it that only 15 players scored more goals than he did and how many of them are going to available either on a free or the cheap?

He actually score 3 goals against PSG : the 2 penalties in the same game I refer to below were against them.
Simply staing that his stats are somewhat flattering given his performance over the season, albeit in a dire team. 5 of his goals came in two games, which leaves as 4 goals in the other 23 matched he played...
St Etienne was interested in previous years, which would be a great move for him.

So teams in France don't need players to score against weaker teams as well as the better ones? Didn't he also score V PSG
The stats are the stats, he scores 9 in 19.5 full games. That's about the same rate as he scored in the two season prior to joining us in Ligue 1 when there was interest from other French clubs at a higher value.
